What better way to start 2015 than with a hug! I used
two dies and one stamp to create this adorable card. I especially enjoyed using
My FavoriteThings Blueprint Die Set 1
to construct the background. Not only is the background stunning, but it is easy
to create, construct and coordinate. Then I got to create my Pure Innocence
Hugs girl with the die and coordinating stamp. When I added the button, I
realized that it was a bit flat. So I pulled out my Scor-tape and white
cardstock and started die cutting six buttons. Then I stacked the sticky
side of the die cuts creating a six-layered button. It actually feels a bit
like leather once you’ve assembled that many layers. All in all, I think that this is a perfect way to start this new year.
