Rubber Stamp Tapestry Seahorse Garden Stamp Set

I absolutely love the Seahorse Garden Peg Stamp Set SAQ00006. I created the card base by cutting and 8 ½” x 11” piece of the The Paper Cut’s Lunar Blue Cardstock in half for an 8 ½” x 5 ½” card. I then scored a line at the 4 ¼” position and fold the card in half. That gives us an A2 card measuring 4 ¼” x  5 ½” card front..

I used the following Memento inks on this project: Large n Seahorse – Danube Blue #600; Tiny Seahorse -- #200; Starfish – Solid Tart #703; Anemone Flower – Lulu Lavender #504; and the Kelp closes out the place – Teal Zeal – #602.

To finish out the nautical theme, I used elements from Elizabeth Craft’s Shells Large set #1146. I cut out the dies using Elizabeth Craft’s White Soft Finish Card Stock, 85-pound weight. I colored the die cuts with Pan Pastels using 340.5 Permanent Red on the crab and 925.5 Pearlescent Orange on the shells.

Rubber Stamp Tapestry’s Heart Deco Love You Card

I love cardstock and the incredible preprinted patterns that find their way onto our scrapbook and card layouts. But there’s something I like equally as much – creating my own backgrounds with the good quality inks and stamps. When my downstate Delaware customers steered me towards Rubber Stamp Tapestry, I knew I found the perfect medium for creating stunning but simple backgrounds every time.

I created a three-layered card with an A2 cream-colored card base. Layer 2 is Sour Apple Green cardstock from the Paper Cut which is 3 ¾” x 4 ½”. The top layer is made from the cream colored cardstock measuring 3 ¼” x 4”.

I edged all three layers with ME302 Love Letter using my Darice sponge dauber. I created the red heart on the top layer with the Rubber Stamp Tapestry’s heart stencil, my sponge dauber, and ME 302 Love Letter Memento ink. I then punched a heart out of a scrap of cream cardstock using my Fiskar’s Heart Punch, I created color with my sponge dauber and my ME302 and stamped a “love you” sentiment with Versamark ink. I sprinkled the sentiment with Sparkle N Sprinkle EP Black Detail Embossing Powder and heated it with my Heat Gun.

Next I stamped the leaves around the bottom and top layers with ME706 Pistachio and the flourish with ME802 Peanut Brittle. I stamped the middle and top layers with hearts using ME302. I used foam tape to raise each layer above the preceding one and attached the heart on top with foam tape as well.
